ROYAL ASCOT SEX OFFENDER ANDREW HACK HANDED COMMUNITY ORDER
RAF Flight Sergeant Andrew Hack was handed a community order after admitting to filming up women's skirts at Royal Ascot this year.
The 44-year-old, who served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Bosnia over 26 years, claimed that work stress led him to this behavior.
He was caught on June 19 during Royal Ascot, lying on the grass and using a camera beneath his arm to capture images of women's underwear as they sat or stood.
His actions were noticed by security guards who found 82 video files showing up-skirt and topless shots of about 13 women.
Hack admitted that he had taken similar photos on 20 to 30 occasions over two decades, but his conduct had escalated.
He argued that his actions were "spur of the moment" and compared his conduct to paparazzi.
The court sentenced him to a three-year community order, a rehabilitation program, and required him to complete a sex offenders' group program, along with court costs, victim surcharge, and a criminal court charge.
