CARDIFF MAN JAILED FOR PUB SEXUAL ASSAULT
A man named Andrew Bishop, aged 35, was involved in a sexual assault at The Borough pub in Cardiff in January.
The victim, a woman, was walking to the toilets when Bishop placed his hands on her crotch over her clothes and grabbed her.
The incident was captured on CCTV, and although Bishop did not appear in court, a trial was conducted in his absence on July 4.
The jury found Bishop guilty of sexual assault.
Subsequently, he was sentenced to a prison term of one year and ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
It was later confirmed that Bishop was arrested on the Monday night following his sentencing.
