Amir Faizi, aged 22, was sentenced for the brutal rape of an 18-year-old school pupil.
The victim was attacked twice after Faizi approached him at a bus stop in Hounslow, promising to take him home.
When the teenager ignored Faizi’s offer, Faizi forcibly dragged him away, punched him in the face, and threatened to kill him.
He then took the young man to a secluded area behind an estate agency where he raped him twice.
The victim managed to escape and hide in bushes before reaching a house to contact the police.
Faizi was apprehended the following month at his residence using DNA evidence.
The court recognized his dangerousness and sentenced him to at least two years and 173 days in prison, with the possibility of parole only once he is deemed no longer a threat to society, as stated by Judge McGregor Johnson at Isleworth Crown Court.
Detective Sergeant Katie Lilburn, who was instrumental in the investigation, praised the victim's bravery, saying: "I cannot express more highly my admiration for the courage that Fazi's victim has shown.
Without his support and that of his family, Faizi might not have been held accountable and could still be preying on others."
