DUNDEE PAEDOPHILE THREATENS HUNTER GROUP DURING STING
A man from Dundee, Alexander Hill, aged 38, has been imprisoned after engaging in inappropriate online communications with what he believed was a 12-year-old girl.He sent a series of sexual remarks despite being told she was only 12.
His details were obtained by a vigilante group, which facilitated a confrontation at a train station.
During the confrontation, Hill became angry and can be heard threatening, saying: 'I’ll get you shot, you don’t know who I am mate.
I will get a bullet in your f*****g head.' When questioned by police, Hill denied any wrongdoing and dismissed allegations that he had messaged a girl as 'total f*****g bulls**t.' He appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court and admitted to sending sexual communications to someone pretending to be a child in July 2021.
The court heard that the vigilante group, 'Shatter the Silence,' posed as a 12-year-old girl named Amber on a dating app and was contacted by Hill, who described himself as Alex, aged 36.
The group arranged to meet, but Hill was confronted and the incident was live-streamed.
Hill was also involved in a separate incident where he arranged to meet an adult woman but was met with group members instead.
The judge deferred sentencing for reports and remanded him in custody, placing him on the Sex Offenders Register.
