SECOND MAN ADMITS ROLE IN RAPE OF WOMAN IN CAR PARK
A second man, Alcino Soares (20), from Braeside, Dungannon, admitted to subjecting a woman to a horrific sexual attack in an underground car park where she was raped while being watched and laughed at by Soares and Mariano.
Mariano, who pleaded guilty, was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing and ordered to sign the Sex Offender Register.
Soares initially pleaded not guilty but then changed his plea to guilty, acknowledging that a custodial sentence is inevitable.
He was also remanded in custody and ordered to sign the Sex Offender Register.
Sentencing for both men is scheduled for next month.
The victim reported being raped by two males who walked her to an underground car park, where one raped her while the other watched and laughed.
Soares was later encountered following women and filming them, and DNA evidence linked him to the crime scene.
