ALBERT WILLIAMS OF LLANDILO SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR SEXUAL ABUSES AGAINST TEENAGE BOYS IN SWANSEA
In August 2017, Albert John Vaughan Williams, a resident of Llandeilo, was sentenced to six years in prison after being found guilty of multiple sex offenses committed against teenage boys.
The convictions include several sexual offences against schoolboys as well as one charge of witness intimidation.
The trial, which lasted four days, commenced on June 29 at Swansea Crown Court, where the jury returned a guilty verdict.
Following his conviction, Williams was remanded in custody and subsequently sentenced to six years imprisonment.
Additionally, a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) was imposed on him.
Williams was arrested in October 2015 after victims came forward to Dyfed-Powys Police to report the incidents.
The sexual assaults occurred over a span of two decades, from 1995 to 2015.
