ALAN JONES FROM HOUGHTON REGIS JAILED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING YOUNG GIRLS IN LUTON

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Houghton Regis, Alan Jones, a 72-year-old man, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison after being found guilty of sexually abusing two young girls.

The incident, which took place in July 2018, involved Jones engaging in inappropriate conduct towards the children, both under the age of 13, at his residence on Bromley Gardens.

Jones was arrested in July following reports of suspicious behavior.

Witnesses observed him acting in a manner that raised serious concerns, prompting authorities to intervene.

It was revealed that Jones had been offering the young girls ice cream and alcohol, which he used as a means to gain their trust and lower their inhibitions.

Subsequently, he engaged in acts of kissing and touching the children, actions that constitute serious sexual offenses.

During his court appearance at Luton Crown Court on Monday, July 23, Jones pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him.

His admission of guilt led to his sentencing on the following Friday, where he was handed a 15-month prison term.

In addition to his incarceration, Jones has been subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which aims to restrict his contact with minors and prevent any further offenses.
