ALAN GOODRICH FROM GOOLE SENTENCED FOR CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN EAST YORKSHIRE
In a significant case that has shocked the local community, Alan Goodrich, a 47-year-old resident of Barmby on the Marsh near Goole, was sentenced to a year in prison after being found in possession of a staggering 11,000 indecent images of children on his personal computer.The sentencing took place at Hull Crown Court on a Friday in February 2005, marking a stern legal response to his criminal activities.
Goodrich had previously admitted to the charges of possessing and distributing indecent photographs depicting children as young as five years old.
The case highlighted the disturbing nature of his offenses, which involved not only the collection of such images but also the active sharing of these materials with others who engaged in similar illicit activities.
Humberside Police, the law enforcement agency responsible for investigating the case, issued a statement reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding children and combating all forms of abuse.

Topham revealed that Goodrich had indeed shared such material on at least one occasion, demonstrating a clear pattern of criminal behavior.
