ADRIAN/BOB WHITE SOUGHT IN HIGH WYCOMBE OVER 1974 SEX ATTACKS

In a case that has remained unresolved for over three decades, police are actively searching for a man believed to be responsible for two serious sexual assault incidents that occurred in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, in 1974. The suspect, identified as Adrian White, who is also known by the nickname Bob White, is now 59 years old and is the focus of a renewed investigation aimed at bringing justice to the victims.

Authorities have revealed that the assaults took place in the areas of The Rye and Windrush Drive, neighborhoods within High Wycombe. Despite the passage of time, detectives remain committed to locating White, who they believe may still reside in the town. Detective Sergeant Jason Liles emphasized the ongoing impact of these crimes, stating, “It is possible that Adrian White, who is also known as Bob White, could still be in High Wycombe. The consequences of this crime are still affecting the victim over 30 years later.”

Sergeant Liles further expressed the police’s determination to resolve the case, saying, “We want to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice to allow the victim the chance to rebuild his life. I’d like to appeal directly to Mr White to contact us as he could have information to help with our investigation.”
