MAN JAILED FOR FIVE YEARS AFTER SETTING MOPED ON FIRE OUTSIDE EX-PARTNER'S HOME
Adam Woodhouse, aged 35 and from Harrow, received a five-year prison sentence after being convicted of various domestic abuse offenses.Over the course of a year, he harassed his former girlfriend by sending hundreds of abusive messages and making numerous phone calls.
His actions also included filming videos outside her home, damaging her garden pots and car windows, and illegally entering her house to steal keys and her vehicle in July.
In September 2024, he set fire to a moped outside her property, endangering her and her children, who were inside at the time.
The London Fire Brigade rescued them promptly, and no injuries occurred.
After the incident, Woodhouse mocked his ex-partner by laughing over his actions in a phone call.
During his attempts to evade police, he sent threatening images of his genitals to the victim.
He was detained in Lincolnshire on September 30, during which he was aggressive, stole documents, and verbally abused officers.
He admitted to charges including arson with intent to endanger life, stalking, cyber-flashing, burglary, theft of property, and criminal damage.
The judge at Harrow Crown Court labeled him a dangerous individual and imposed a lifetime restraining order to protect the victim.
His former partner urged women to be brave and seek help, sharing how her life and that of her children have been deeply affected.
