ADAM JUSTICE FROM HARINGEY SENTENCED TO 17 YEARS FOR HORRIFIC CHILD ABUSE AND CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
In a chilling case that has shocked the community of Haringey, Adam Justice, a 61-year-old man, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 17 years after admitting to an extensive and disturbing pattern of child sexual abuse spanning two decades, from 2000 to 2020.Justice was taken into custody on January 31 following a confession that revealed the full extent of his crimes. The sentencing took place at Wood Green Crown Court on February 2, where the court heard details of his heinous actions. The charges against him included 78 counts of sexual abuse, which encompassed multiple instances of rape and attempted rape involving two young female victims who were children at the time of the abuse. These victims were known to Justice, indicating a troubling breach of trust and a predatory pattern of behavior.
Further evidence uncovered during the investigation revealed that Justice had also engaged in the creation of indecent images of the victims himself, adding a layer of depravity to his crimes. The police investigation was prompted by concerns raised about Justice’s conduct, which led officers to uncover a disturbing record of admissions over many years. Among the evidence was a diary labeled “confessions” found on his computer, which detailed the extent of his offending and his abhorrent desires towards children.
In addition to the abuse and images involving the victims, authorities discovered more than 170,000 child abuse images stored on Justice’s devices, highlighting the severity of his involvement in the exploitation of children. The scale of his offending was described as “repulsive” and “most serious” by the presiding judge, Guy Mathieson.
Justice’s sentencing includes a requirement to serve an additional year on licence if he is ever released from prison. Moreover, he will be registered as a sex offender for life, ensuring ongoing monitoring and restrictions. The judge emphasized the gravity of Justice’s actions, stating that he had “instigated and perpetuated abuse of the most serious and horrific nature,” reflecting the profound harm inflicted on his victims and the community of Haringey.
