ADAM ISAAC CAUGHT IN ASTLEY BRIDGE AND PRESTON FOR CHILD INDECENCY VIDEOS

In a case that has shocked the local communities of Astley Bridge and Preston, Adam Isaac, aged 35, was found guilty of possessing and downloading highly disturbing indecent videos involving young children. The incident, which took place over a period spanning from December 13 to December 24 in 2015, led to a court appearance at Bolton Crown Court where Isaac faced serious charges related to child exploitation.

According to court records, the police executed a search warrant at Isaac’s residence on Grasmere Street in Astley Bridge on July 28 of the previous year. During this operation, law enforcement officers seized multiple electronic devices from the property, which was occupied by Isaac and his family. The investigation was part of a broader effort to combat online child exploitation and involved meticulous digital forensic analysis.

Subsequently, on March 29 of this year, authorities contacted Isaac to inform him that indecent images had been discovered on his computer. The images, classified as Category A—indicating the most severe level of child abuse material—included videos featuring girls as young as three years old. One of these videos was notably lengthy, running for approximately two hours, and contained highly disturbing content.

Isaac, who now resides at Brackenbury Court in Preston, admitted to downloading these videos during the period mentioned. His solicitor later confirmed to police that Isaac was responsible for the downloads, acknowledging his involvement in the possession of these illegal images.

During the sentencing hearing, Judge Paul Reid QC emphasized the gravity of the offense but decided against imposing a custodial sentence. Instead, Isaac was handed a community order that will last for three years. As part of this order, he is required to participate in rehabilitation activities aimed at addressing underlying issues related to his offending behavior. Additionally, the court imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for five years, restricting Isaac’s access to certain online content and monitoring his activities to prevent further offenses.
