WILTSHIRE MAN JAILED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION
A man has been jailed for sexually abusing a girl over a number of years.Adam Cockram, 38, was found guilty of seven counts of adult sexual activity against the child, for whom police said he had "complete disregard".Cockram, from Calne in Wiltshire, was sentenced to 15 years in prison at Swindon Crown Court following a trial in July.
He was also found guilty of inciting sexual activity, taking an indecent photograph, and possession of a prohibited image.
Cockram was put on the sex offenders register for life.Det Con Julie Lewis, from Wiltshire Police, said it was thanks to the bravery of the survivor that Cockram had been prosecuted.Cockram was also barred from working with children and made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 20 years.
