Stop the Release of Convicted Paedophile George Low into West Lothian

We are Red Rose UK, and we are calling for urgent action to stop the release of convicted paedophile George Low into the West Lothian community. He is due to be housed at Bluebell Lodge in Blackburn, just a short distance from many of the young girls he was convicted of abusing. George Low admitted to raping a girl under 13, sexually assaulting another under 13, and coercing dozens of schoolgirls online. These crimes were committed across West Lothian, and many of his victims still live in the area. His offences were not isolated or impulsive — they were part of a calculated and sustained pattern of abuse, even while he was on bail. Placing him back into this community puts children at risk and retraumatises victims who have already suffered enough. This decision shows a complete lack of regard for public safety and the rights of survivors to live free from fear. We demand that George Low is not returned to West Lothian upon release. Protecting children and supporting victims must come before the convenience of placing a dangerous offender back into familiar territory. Stop this before more damage is done.
