WILLIAM NICOL FROM DOONFOOT CAUGHT WITH CHILD ABUSE IMAGES IN AYR

In June 2017, William Nicol, a 46-year-old resident of Doonfoot, was brought before Ayr Sheriff Court to face serious allegations related to the possession and creation of indecent images of children. Nicol, who appeared in court using a walking stick and appeared to have paralysis affecting his right arm and leg, entered a plea of guilty to two charges concerning his conduct between January 1, 2015, and January 22, 2016.

According to court records, the first charge accused Nicol of taking, permitting to be taken, or creating indecent images or pseudo-photos of children. The second charge stated that he possessed such images or pseudo-photos in his personal possession.
