OFFENDER JAILED FOR SAVAGE DOMESTIC ASSAULT IN RUTHIN
William James Machin has been given a prison sentence of just over two years after he attacked a woman inside her home in Ruthin. The assault happened on Sunday, August 6, in the afternoon, when Machin struck the woman in the face with a punch and then lifted her off the ground to continue his assault.

He pleaded guilty to charges of intentional suffocation, assault causing actual bodily harm, and criminal damage.
He was detained 15 minutes after the attack and remained in custody until his sentencing.
