A man in custody, who police say admitted to additional offenses to a fellow inmate, has been sentenced to prison along with his uncle for child sexual abuse.
Adam Judd, aged 26 and previously imprisoned for sexual crimes in 2014, disclosed further allegations in a letter, prompting an investigation, according to authorities.
He received a sentence of five years and nine months after being convicted on nine counts of rape and two sexual assaults.
Wayne Judd, a 30-year-old resident of Marston Road, Weoley Castle, was sentenced to 11 and a half years at Birmingham Crown Court after pleading guilty to four counts of rape.
The police noted that Adam Judd’s sentence was reduced because of his prior seven-year jail term.
In 2017, Judd admitted to additional offenses committed against two minors between 2011 and 2014, expressing that he was weary of keeping silent.
The West Midlands Police Public Protection Unit interviewed both Judds and collected statements from the two women, both of whom were under 14 at the time of the incidents.
