    WANTED NIALL O’BRIEN FROM BELFAST FLEEING CHILD ABUSE IMAGES TRIAL IN DOWNPATRICK

    In December 2014, authorities issued a public appeal to locate Niall O’Brien, a 27-year-old man originally from the Belfast area, who has been on the run since he failed to appear in court over a year ago. O’Brien was scheduled to stand trial at the Crown Court in Downpatrick on December 4, 2013, but he did not show up, prompting serious concern among law enforcement officials.

    He faces serious allegations including the possession of indecent images of a child via online platforms and engaging in sexual activities with a minor through the internet. These charges have prompted the court to take decisive action, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, emphasizing the gravity of the case and the need to bring him to justice.
