TOW LAW MAN TOLD BOY 'GET INSIDE THE BUSHES' AT PETERLEE PARK
A man grabbed a young boy telling him to 'get inside the bushes' in a terrifying incident at a County Durham park.Durham Crown Court heard Clement, of Tow Law, approached two young boys at a park wearing a trench coat and carrying a bottle of wine.
He asked for directions to the toilets, and then, when the toilets were closed, he asked the boy to point to the bushes where he could urinate.
Clement then grabbed the boy's phone and wrist, shouting 'get inside the bushes', before the boy ran away.
The victim is now suffering from panic attacks and has scratches.
Clement, 35, admitted a charge of common assault and also pleaded guilty to an assault involving a woman.
He was jailed for 12 weeks.
