CHINESE MEDICINE DOCTOR JAILED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS IN NOTTINGHAM
A traditional Chinese medicine doctor has been jailed for four years for sexually assaulting two patients.
Tiangoong Zheng, 67, was sentenced after a trial at Nottingham Crown Court, where a jury found him guilty of two counts of sexual assault by touching.
He was found not guilty of five other alleged sexual offences.
The assaults occurred between November 2017 and February 2019 at Nottingham Chinese Medical Centre, in Upper Parliament Street.
Zheng was arrested on February 18 and will be placed on the sex offenders' register.
The Detective Constable Paul Crofts of Nottinghamshire Police stated: "We are pleased with the result following the trial.
I hope the sentence gives the victims some comfort that he has is now behind bars.
I’d like to commend the victims for their bravery to come forward and helping us to bring him to justice."
