A young man from Bradwell, Thomas Grundy, has been handed a suspended prison sentence after engaging in inappropriate sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl he met through social media platforms.

The incident has drawn significant attention due to the nature of the offense and the circumstances surrounding it.

Thomas Grundy, who is 19 years old, was found to have falsely inquired about the girl’s age during their online interactions.

Despite knowing or suspecting her young age, he continued to encourage her to meet him in person, which led to a meeting that resulted in sexual activity.
