A total of twelve men who sexually abused a vulnerable teenage girl in West Yorkshire have been sentenced to prison terms, with sentences reaching up to 20 years.

Eleven of these men were imprisoned at Bradford Crown Court after being found guilty of raping the girl in Keighley, starting when she was just 13 years old. An additional man received a sentence for engaging in sexual activity with the same teenager.

The court heard that the girl was subjected to repeated assaults over a 13-month period from 2011 to 2012. The trial revealed that she was forced to have sex at various locations around Keighley, including an underground car park and a church graveyard.

During the proceedings, she was described as leading a "chaotic existence" at that time, having been reported missing from her home more than 70 times over a two-year span.

The case highlights the severity and extent of the abuse the girl endured during this period.
