In March 2010, a troubling case emerged involving Stuart Tucker, a former bus driver from Lawrence Weston, Bristol, who was found to possess an indecent image of an eight-year-old girl. Despite the serious nature of the offense, Tucker managed to avoid immediate imprisonment, receiving a suspended sentence instead.

The incident came to light when Tucker's mobile phone went missing while he was at work. His employer, upon discovering the missing device, conducted a search of its contents and uncovered a disturbing image depicting a young girl performing a sexual act on an adult male. This discovery prompted police involvement, leading to Tucker's arrest in September of the previous year.

At North Avon Magistrates Court, it was revealed that Tucker, aged 44 and residing with his parents on Banfield Close in Lawrence Weston, had been in possession of the illicit image for two days before his arrest.
