The court, recognizing the severity of the offense, sentenced him to a term of seven years and six months on Tuesday, 13 May 2025. She stated, “The victim has shown immense bravery and courage by coming forward to report what happened to her and also for supporting our investigation and the court process.”
She further emphasized the gravity of the offense, saying, “Stuart Jarvis chose to take advantage of the victim in an abhorrent way while she was intoxicated and vulnerable. Nobody should have to experience what she did, and I am pleased that the defendant is now facing the consequences of his actions.”
