EVIL KNIFE MURDERER GETS LIFE

A vicious killer who murdered a teenage charity worker then mutilated her body has been jailed for life.

Stuart Jack, 22, will spend a minimum of 18 years in prison for killing 19-year-old Laura Milne in a savage attack in an Aberdeen flat last December.

Jack slit her throat with a kitchen knife then tried to cut the head, legs and breast off her corpse before hiding it in a kitchen cupboard where it lay for a week.

He was also given a six-year concurrent sentence for attempting to defeat the ends of justice by trying to conceal the body.

Members of Laura's family were at the High Court in Edinburgh as details of her murder were read out.
