STUART ALLEN FROM BOURNE FACES SERIOUS CHARGES OVER CHILD AND ANIMAL INDECENT IMAGES

In a case that has shocked the local community of Bourne, Stuart Allen, a 31-year-old man formerly residing in the town, has admitted to possessing a large collection of indecent images involving children and animals. The details of his offenses were revealed during a court hearing at Boston Magistrates’ Court, where he faced multiple serious charges related to the possession and creation of illicit material.

Between July and September of the previous year, Allen admitted to making a staggering total of 351 images classified as Category A, 301 images categorized as Category B, and 278 images falling under Category C. These images depicted children in explicit and illegal contexts, highlighting the severity of his actions. In addition to these, he also confessed to possessing 475 prohibited images of children, which are considered particularly harmful and illegal under current legislation.

Furthermore, Allen admitted to possessing 29 extreme pornographic images involving dogs, an offense that adds a disturbing dimension to his criminal record. His actions extended beyond mere possession, as he also installed two computer programs designed explicitly to prevent law enforcement authorities from discovering the images on his devices. These programs were installed sometime between May and September of the previous year, indicating a deliberate attempt to conceal his activities.

Prosecutor Shelley Wilson outlined the background of Allen’s criminal history, noting that he was previously given a two-year suspended prison sentence in March 2021 at Chelmsford for similar offenses. He was also placed on the sex offenders’ register and subjected to a sexual harm prevention order. Despite these measures, police conducted a routine check on Allen and his electronic devices in July last year, which initially did not reveal any illegal content. However, a subsequent investigation in September uncovered the presence of encryption and blocking software on two of his devices, leading to his arrest.

During the hearing, Ms. Wilson explained that Allen is currently remanded in custody and awaiting sentencing at Chelmsford Crown Court, where he faces other charges related to similar offenses. Allen appeared in court and expressed a desire to
