    A 51-year-old man named Steven Roy Herbert Whittle has admitted to assaulting his partner approximately 20 times during an argument, resulting in bruises. During the court proceedings, it was stated that Whittle also was threatening and abusive towards a port security officer who had issued a parking fine to him. The court has adjourned the sentencing, pending a social enquiry report. The prosecution is seeking a total costs of £1650.
