MAN JAILED FOR SIX-AND-A-HALF YEARS FOR SEX OFFENCES INVOLVING CHILDREN
A man from Liverpool has received a sentence of six and a half years in prison for committing multiple sexual offences against children.Steven Andrews, aged 67 and residing on Langdale Road in Aigburth, was convicted at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, 11 May.
The charges included causing or encouraging a child to take part in sexual activities, along with five separate counts of sexual assault.
His prison term amounts to 78 months.
Additionally, Andrews has been subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and mandated to remain on the Sex Offenders Register without an end date.
Restrictive orders have also been put in place to protect his victims.
