STEVE OXBORROW GUILTY OF CHILD SEX OFFENCES IN SOUTHAMPTON

New Forest Rapist
A man named Steve Oxborrow, aged 33 and residing on Wilverley Road in Wootton, was convicted of sexually abusing three children over a span of seven years in the New Forest area. The court heard that Oxborrow assaulted the children multiple times between January 2005 and June 2012, with incidents occurring in Wootton and New Milton.

Following a three-week trial, Oxborrow was found guilty of numerous charges. On April 5, at Southampton Crown Court, he was convicted of five counts of sexual activity with a child under the age of 13, three counts of sexual assault of a child under 13, and two counts of making indecent photographs of a child. Additionally, he was convicted of possession of an indecent image of a child and one count of raping a child under 13.

He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to face sentencing at the same court on May 26.
