GARTCOSH CREEP CAUGHT WITH 1.5 MILLION BIKINI PICTURES OF TEEN GIRLS
A man identified as Stephen Dolman, aged 34, who works as an IT project manager, was found with thousands of images depicting child abuse on his laptop, along with a shocking collection of 1.5 million photos showing teenage girls in bikinis or sparse clothing.Dolman has been placed on the sex offenders register for a period of five years after confessing to downloading indecent images of children at his residence in Gartcosh, North Lanarkshire.
During the court proceedings, prosecutor Jack Lindsay revealed that police officers executed a search warrant at Dolman’s home on December 2, 2024.
He explained: "The images were mainly of children aged between five and 15 years.
Additionally, there were 1.5 million pictures of girls aged 15 to 18 in bikinis or scanty clothing.
These images are not categorized as child abuse." Specialist law enforcement officers discovered that Dolman had installed software that enabled him to view and organize his extensive collection of photos.
His defense attorney, John Kilcoyne, stated that Dolman initially viewed adult pornography before diverting his attention to minors.
He commented: “He reports that his relationship with his partner was strained at the time.
He was experiencing depression, feeling down, and drinking alcohol.
He recognizes he has a problem and understands the harm caused to children by such images.
He feels embarrassed and has taken steps to prevent this from happening again.
His relationship has since improved, and his partner supports him.” Sheriff Joseph Hughes handed down a community payback order as an alternative to imprisonment.
Dolman is to be monitored for three years, complete 200 hours of unpaid work, and remain at his home between 7 pm and 7 am under a nine-month electronic tagging supervision.
Furthermore, he was issued a five-year order to prevent sexual harm.
