Dalguise Domestic Abuser
A court in Dalguise has heard detailed evidence regarding the violent actions of Stanley Pelc, a 53-year-old man accused of inflicting harm on his wife, Jacqueline Pelc. The incident in question involved Pelc hurling a Wii games console directly at his wife, an act that resulted in visible injuries and was part of a disturbing pattern of domestic abuse spanning several years from 2006 to 2009.

During the court proceedings, witnesses provided compelling testimony. Patrick, the son of the accused and victim, confirmed witnessing the moment Pelc threw the Wii console at his mother. Patrick described seeing the device strike her on the thigh, which left her with significant bruising characterized by black, purple, and blue discolorations. He also recounted seeing the aftermath of the assault, including the bruises that marked his mother’s skin.

Further evidence revealed that Pelc’s violence extended beyond the Wii incident. It was established that he had pulled his wife’s hair and dragged her down the stairs during an altercation. These acts of physical violence underscored a pattern of aggressive behavior that had been ongoing for several years.

In addition to the physical assaults, Pelc denied allegations from 2009 that he had physically grabbed his wife’s arms and pulled her hair during an argument. He also contested claims that he had breached the peace by shouting and swearing, conduct that caused alarm and distress to those present.

After reviewing the evidence, the sheriff found Pelc guilty of all charges brought against him. However, the court decided to defer sentencing until the following month, allowing for further proceedings or considerations before final judgment is passed.
