Stanislav Fako, aged 31 and residing on Thistle Road in Gravesend, was involved in abusing a 12-year-old girl multiple times between April 2016 and January 2017.
The girl, profoundly impacted by Fako’s actions, attempted to harm herself, and it was only after this that she felt able to disclose the abuse.
Fako was detained in January 2017 and released on bail while authorities investigated the allegations.

On April 19, at Maidstone Crown Court, he was sentenced to 16 years in prison, with an additional four years on licence, and received a 15-month consecutive sentence for the charge of intimidation.
He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and issued a sexual harm prevention order.
