HUSBAND CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER WIFE FOUND DEAD INSIDE PROPERTY
A man has been charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found inside a property in Wolverhampton.The victim, Anjanee Sandhir, was identified after her body was discovered on Finchfield Road on the evening of September 29.
Her husband, 41-year-old Shivinder Sandhir, has been formally accused of her killing and will appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court later today, Wednesday, October 1.
Police remain at the scene on Finchfield Road, and additional law enforcement officers are stationed nearby as part of ongoing investigations.
A police representative stated, "A man is due to appear in court today on charges of murder following the death of a woman at a property in Wolverhampton on September 29." The spokesperson added, "Shivinder Sandhir, aged 41, is accused of murdering his wife, Anjanee Sandhir.
Our sympathies are with her loved ones, and police support is being offered." The suspect was arrested on Monday, and authorities are continuing investigations to piece together the events leading to her death.
They have confirmed they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the case.
