A man received a 12-year prison sentence following his conviction for the sexual assault of a woman in Wirral.
Sean Duffin, 46, who has no fixed address, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, 17 December, after being found guilty of charges that included rape, sexual assault, and non-fatal strangulation.
The incidents took place at a property in Wirral in July 2023, involving a female victim.
In addition to his prison term, Duffin was issued a lifelong restraining order and will remain on the Sex Offender Register for the remainder of his life.
