LABOUR MP SARAH CHAMPION INVOLVED IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CAUTION FROM 2007
Sarah Champion, a Labour MP representing Rotherham, was involved in a domestic incident in 2007 that resulted in her being arrested and cautioned.The incident occurred at her family home in Chapel-en-Frith, Derbyshire, where both she and her then husband Graham Hoyland were taken into police custody.

Last night, Brian Hitchcock of Men’s Aid said: ‘Sarah Champion should resign.
Domestic Violence at whatever level is unacceptable.
Ministers should set the highest possible standards and if they break the law then there is no place for them in government.’ She remains a prominent figure in Labour with a strong record of campaigning against domestic abuse, though her past incident has cast a shadow over her reputation.
