ROYSTON HARRIS FROM COALEY SENTENCED FOR RAPE OF GIRLS IN GLOUCESTERSHIRE

In a case that has shocked the community of Coaley and the wider Gloucestershire area, Royston Harris, a 56-year-old man from Betworthy, Coaley, has been sentenced to an indeterminate prison term following his conviction for multiple serious sexual offenses. The crimes, which spanned over a year from November 2009 to November 2010, involved the sexual assault of two young girls under the age of 13, as well as the sexual touching of a third child. Harris had previously admitted to a total of 17 separate sex offenses related to these incidents, highlighting the extent of his criminal behavior.

During the sentencing hearing at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday, Harris was informed that he must serve a minimum of seven years behind bars before being eligible for parole.
