ROBSON PEREIRA, GATEHOUSE OF FLEET SEX OFFENDER, SENTENCED TO 11 YEARS IN PRISON

Robson Pereira, a man who once gained local admiration as a riding school owner in the small community of Gatehouse of Fleet, has been officially convicted of a series of heinous sexual offenses and sentenced to a lengthy prison term of eleven years. Pereira, aged 50, operated the Kirkclaugh Stables in Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries and Galloway, a place where he was initially regarded as a helpful figure, especially for disabled children who attended his riding school.
