ROBERT GLEN FROM RAVENSCLIFFE ESCAPES PRISON AFTER GROOMING AND SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH 14-YEAR-OLD SCHOOLGIRL
In a case that has drawn significant attention from the local community, Robert Glen, a 29-year-old man residing on Norbury Road in Ravenscliffe, has narrowly avoided a custodial sentence after admitting to serious charges involving a minor.The incident involved Glen engaging in grooming behaviors and sexual activities with a girl who was between the ages of 13 and 15.
During proceedings at Bradford magistrates court, it was revealed that Glen had used alcohol to manipulate and groom the young girl, who was still in school at the time.
The court heard that Glen's actions included sending explicit images of himself to the victim through Blackberry Messenger, further demonstrating his inappropriate conduct and breach of trust.
The court was informed that Glen's grooming tactics and subsequent sexual activity were carried out in a manner that exploited the victim's vulnerability.

Despite the gravity of the charges, Glen was sentenced to an 18-month community order rather than imprisonment.
