SADISTIC HULL PREDATOR JAILED FOR 12 YEARS AFTER RAPE AND ASSAULT

A sadistic Hull predator has been jailed for 12 years.

Ricky Dawson, 29, of Holderness Road, Hull was found guilty by a jury of two counts of rape, sexual assault, and actual bodily harm.

His sick crime involved holding the victim around her neck during one of the rapes and using hand sanitiser in an attempt to limit DNA evidence.

Throughout court proceedings at Hull Crown Court, Ricky maintained his innocence, forcing his victim to relive an extremely traumatic and frightening period in her life.

Humberside Police have since praised the bravery of the victim for speaking out and are pleased to see that the terrifying rapist will be behind bars for a long time.
