MAN STOLE LADIES UNDERWEAR IN RAID ON HOUSE IN SOHAM
A 19-year-old man is scheduled to be sentenced after stealing four pairs of women's underwear from a residence in Soham.Ricky Dalrymple, age 19, of Foxwood South, Soham, appeared before Cambridge Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday, facing two counts of burglary.
The charges stem from two separate incidents at the same address on Qua Fen Common, Soham.
The first occurred between 10 am and 3:30 pm on February 23, and the second took place at 9 am the following day, February 24.
Dalrymple forcibly entered the property through a rear ground-floor window, leaving a trail of blood as he searched the premises.
During the break-in, only four pairs of ladies' underwear and a house key were stolen.
He returned to the scene the next morning and was quickly apprehended nearby.
In court, Dalrymple admitted guilt to the charges and is due to be sentenced in Cambridge on March 18.
He had been released on bail until that date but violated his bail conditions by being in Soham.
As a result, police charged him with breaching bail and released him again prior to the sentencing.
