MAN SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENCES

A man from Malvern has received a prison sentence for sexual crimes involving minors.

Richard Webb, aged 34 and residing on Moat Crescent, was handed down a nine-year jail term by Worcester Crown Court on Thursday, 2 December.

He is also set to be on the sex offenders register for a lifetime and will serve a three-year extended license period.

The offences occurred in the Hereford region over a period spanning from 2006 to 2019, involving victims aged between 8 and 14 at the time.

Webb also engaged in meetings with a child to commit sexual offences after grooming the victim and was found in possession of extreme pornography.
