SEX PEST RICHARD KAMINSKY JAILED FOR REPEATED OFFENSES IN RUSTHALL
Richard Kaminsky, a 50-year-old resident of Valley Road, Rusthall, has been sentenced to two years in prison for a sexual assault incident involving a woman, after previously escaping a jail sentence for similar offenses.Kaminsky had promised a High Court judge that he would never behave in such a manner again, stating, “Never, your Honour, never,” and assuring the court that he would not repeat his actions.
Despite this, he was convicted of a recent sexual assault on July 5, where he again groped a woman’s breasts.
The court heard that last year he received a community order and supervision for two charges of sexual assault committed in 2006, which involved going to a victim’s home and inappropriate touching including attempting to kiss her, and barging into another woman’s home to touch her breasts.
Kaminsky had a prior conviction for similar conduct when he approached a woman in the street, kissed her arm, and declared, “I am in love with you darling.” The judge expressed his concern over Kaminsky's behavior, noting his continued denial during interviews and the impression that he is a 'sex pest' rather than a violent sexual predator.
Kaminsky's defense highlighted his issues with alcohol and drugs and dismissed him as a nuisance who does not understand proper conduct.
The judge warned that if Kaminsky commits another sexual offense, his sentence would be even harsher, and remarked, “You clearly have a problem.
You don’t know how to behave.
It seems women in the area where you live need to be protected.” The court emphasized the need to protect women in the community from such repeat offenders.
