Her father, Michael Dakin, shared, 'Laura did not deserve to die.
My daughter should still be here.
I do not hate him, but I find it impossible to forgive.' During the trial, Davies Jones stated that he had called emergency services but could not recall the details of the incident.
He also claimed his wife had attacked him with a kitchen knife before stabbing herself in the neck.
The case was described as devastating, with authorities noting the emotional toll on the family.
A statement issued through Surrey Police read, 'We are grateful that justice has been achieved and that a guilty verdict was reached.' They further acknowledged their sorrow, adding, 'This will not bring Laura back, but we take some solace in justice being done.'
