RAHUL SHARMA BRUTALITY IN WOLVERHAMPTON: RAPE AND MURDER OF HELEN KEMPSTER

In a tragic and disturbing case that has shocked the community of Wolverhampton, Rahul Sharma has been found guilty of a heinous crime involving the rape and murder of Helen Kempster.

The incident took place during the early hours of June 2022, on land near Wolverhampton city centre, where Sharma carried out a brutal assault that lasted approximately 15 minutes.

According to court reports, Sharma subjected Ms Kempster to a savage attack that involved punching, kicking, and stamping on her body.

The violence was so severe that she sustained more than 15 broken ribs, a brain hemorrhage, and the loss of a tooth.

The attack was characterized by its extreme brutality, leaving Ms Kempster with devastating injuries that ultimately led to her death.

During the investigation, Sharma claimed to have found Ms Kempster around 04:00 and stated that he had attempted to resuscitate her by administering CPR.

However, forensic evidence collected from the scene, including DNA samples found on Ms Kempster and her clothing, conclusively linked Sharma to the crime.

Despite his initial denials, the evidence proved his involvement beyond any doubt.

The court described the attack as 'extreme and brutal,' emphasizing the severity of Sharma's actions.

In light of the evidence and the gravity of the crime, Rahul Sharma was sentenced at Wolverhampton Crown Court to serve 28 years in prison.

Furthermore, the court ordered him to be placed on the sex offender register for life, acknowledging the seriousness of his offenses and the ongoing risk he poses to the community.
