REDDITCH PENSIONER PHILIP GARDNER CAUGHT WITH CHILD PORNOGRAPHY MATERIALS
In a serious case that has shocked the Redditch community, 66-year-old Philip Gardner of Dale Road, Redditch, has admitted to possessing indecent images and videos depicting children.The charges against Gardner include 14 separate counts related to the illegal download and possession of over 150 explicit images, which were categorized across various levels of severity.
These illicit materials were downloaded over a period spanning from October 2010 to April 2014, highlighting a prolonged period of offending.
Gardner appeared in court where he pleaded guilty to all charges.
The court ordered a pre-sentence report to be prepared, which will help determine the appropriate punishment for his crimes.
Additionally, Gardner was granted bail, allowing him to return to Worcester Crown Court for sentencing scheduled for January 29.
