A man with a disability, Philip Bradley, aged 55 and a wheelchair user, has been sentenced to ten years in prison for abusing a girl over a span of more than ten years. The abuse occurred from when the victim was seven until she was 14 years old. Bradley also took explicit photographs of the girl and inflicted significant psychological harm, which led to depression, anxiety, and other mental health difficulties.

Bradley was convicted on 17 counts of indecent assault and one charge of possessing indecent images. He was additionally ordered to register as a sex offender indefinitely. The court’s verdict reflects the serious nature of the crimes committed against the young victim.
