PETER MACBRYDE FROM WIDNES SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE

A man from Widnes has been sentenced to prison for offenses related to child sexual abuse. Peter MacBryde, aged 73, was found guilty of five counts of indecently assaulting young girls. He received a 12-month prison term on some of these counts, to run consecutively, with an additional 12 months ordered to run concurrently. MacBryde was also mandated to register as a sex offender for life. Following his imprisonment, he has been released and is now back in Widnes on licence.
