2006: SICKO JAILED FOR 4 YEARS
THIS is perverted Peter Krafzyk who will be spending Christmas behind bars after carrying out a string of sexual assaults on a schoolgirl.
The sick Kingswinford businessman, of Meadford Drive, was jailed for four years after Judge Frank Chapman told him it was clear he had used his wealth to impress his young victim.
Krafzyk, a 53-year-old divorced father-of-three, was convicted on three charges of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13.
The Wolverhampton Crown Court Judge said he did not believe Krafzyk was a predatory paedophile who went out looking for girls, but it was clear he had become infatuated.
The Judge also ruled Krafzyk, who committed the offences between December 26 and December 30 2005, should register as a sex offender for life and he barred him from ever working with children or living in a house where children were present.
Mr Henry Davies, defending, told the court Krafzyk had no previous convictions and he was now a man without a home.
Krafzyk's Evenu business, based on Pensnett High Street, sold items ranging from used cars to light aircraft.
Last year he proposed spending £1.5m to create a vintage vehicle museum at the old Foster and Rastrick foundry in Lowdes Road, Stourbridge.
The German-born businessman was known as someone who kept himself to himself and had a passion for classic cars.
Pensnett councilor, Rosemary Tomkinson, said: "I have difficulty finding any sympathy for this man, at his age and with children of his own he should know what he was doing was morally and criminally wrong." Krafzyk was further ordered to pay £2,561 towards prosecution costs after the court heard he had cars in his workshop valued at more than £100,000.
