In October 2008, Peter Gledhill, aged 35, of Hale End Road in Walthamstow, was jailed after admitting to multiple child sexual assault charges. Gledhill pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault involving a child under the age of 13. He received a sentence of 15 months at Wood Green Crown Court and will be on the sex offenders register for a duration of ten years.
