NHS EXECUTIVE PLEADS GUILTY TO STRING OF CHILD SEX OFFENCES AFTER LURING UNDERAGE GIRLS ON SNAPCHAT
Paul Lipscombe, 51, a senior NHS executive, pleaded guilty to 34 offences, including two counts of rape, three sexual assaults, and 21 offences of sexual activity with a child relating to six victims aged between 12 and 15.He used Snapchat accounts under false names to groom girls and also admitted making indecent photographs of children, distributing images, and inciting sexual activity.
Leicester Crown Court was told Lipscombe was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a missing girl when officers stopped his Tesla near a KFC in Birstall, Leicester, in April last year.
The girl, who went missing from her home in another area, was picked up by Lipscombe and taken to a hotel.
During the arrest, Lipscombe initially claimed he had not kidnapped anyone and knew where she was, then told police her location.
He tried to manipulate the situation by providing a false script, claiming the girl was in danger at her home, and instructed her to falsely tell police she was staying with a friend.
Further investigation uncovered evidence of sexual assault, including items such as his phone, restraints, a bottle of vodka, and another mobile phone.
The court heard Lipscombe’s online profiles, including Snapchat, described him as an award-winning expert and keynote speaker.
His sentencing continues.
